Friends Trust International (FTI) consists of a group of Christians seeking to impact people with the love of Jesus. Our aim is to work with indigenous people in certain target nations in the Third World (through projects identified,) who will benefit from FTI resources both financial and professional.

Our people will establish working relationships with governmental, non- governmental and private organisations, to enhance the lives of the poor and desolate in these target nations. FTI with its partners will take or supply medical care, food supplies, clothes, toys, financial assistance and other basic essentials, coupled with Christian love, to impoverished areas of the Third World .

Our Mission

To generate funds and support for victims such as orphans, widows and the destitute in Ghana , Kenya , Rwanda , Nigeria and the Third World .

To work in partnership with Destiny Builders who will act as its missionary vehicle to help establish and train voluntary workers and Christians.

Executive Summary

FTI has been established since 2003 and has evolved from a group of individuals into an organisation. We have set our goals and we are achieving them one brick, one step at a time. The task ahead of us is huge but where God is, there is a way.

Daily we show Jesus's compassion to the orphans and widows who are receiving the counselling, childcare and help a Solace Ministry missionary (our Rwandese partner) gives. By supporting missionaries we believe that God is reaching the orphan or widow who needs Him.

We are now preparing to embark on our next project in Rwanda , providing for child headed households ( CHH ). CHH are unfortunately on the increase due to the AIDS virus. Until recently the growth in the number of CHH was as a result of genocide and war, now those parents who had contracted the AIDS virus are leaving behind children in desperate conditions. Whatever the reason that led to becoming orphaned, we believe that orphans living alone need to be cared for, though the approach might be unusual.
